📖 Course Description

A comprehensive foundational course for students starting their tech journey — from understanding how computers, the internet, and operating systems work, to becoming genuinely capable programmers. Students build core programming logic using Python, learn essential data structures and algorithms, work with files and basic databases, and use AI tools throughout as everyday learning and coding companions. By the end, students are ready to specialize in any tech track with confidence.

What You Will Learn

Understand how computers, operating systems, networks, and the internet work

Use productivity and cloud tools confidently (Google Workspace, file systems, version control basics)

Understand what AI is, how it works, and how to use it responsibly

Write programs using variables, control flow, functions, and error handling

Work with core data structures: lists, dictionaries, sets, and tuples

Understand basic algorithms and problem-solving techniques

Work with files, basic databases, and simple APIs

Use AI coding assistants to learn, debug, and build faster

Build and present a substantial final programming project
